Half-Life 2 is the outline version of the font used in the Half-Life console. Half-Life 1 is the solid version of the font used in the Half-Life console. The HalfLife font is really just Arial with a few glyphs modified to the lamba symbol for half-life and the superscript letter E for Valve.
